I have been so fortunate to be able to pursue my passion and do something I truly love. I approach my photography with an inquisitive eye and a sense of fun. I like to start with a simple setting that allows the individual’s unique personality to shine, or highlights the special interactions between family & friends.
Whether capturing the wonder of childhood, the special bonds of families, or promoting a business image or special event, I invite you to share in my vision of creating unforgettable images that show those fleeting moments we want to remember always.
I believe in giving back to my community by volunteering my time and talent to a variety of worthy causes:
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org) is a non-profit organization that offers the gift of remembrance photography to those experiencing early infant loss. Affiliate photographers volunteer their time and provide beautiful and sensitive digital black and white images to the family to begin their healing in this difficult time. I have been involved as a volunteer photographer for over 10 years and have taken on the role of the Area Coordinator for Tucson.
Tohono Chul (www.tohonochul.org) is a wonderful local botanical garden that “enriches people’s lives by connecting them with the wonders of nature, art and culture”. As a volunteer, I enjoy photographing the wide variety of desert plants and animals and provide photography guidance to visitors during "Bloom Night". My images have been featured in the Tohono Chul calendar and in Art Gallery exhibitions.
All Soul's Procession media circle (https://allsoulsprocession.org) is a group of photographers and videographers who document the annual All Soul's Procession in Tucson, AZ. This event allows us to grieve, honor and celebrate those who have passed.
